RESOLUTION 69-21 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE CANVASS OF <br />THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON THE <br />1ST DAY OF APRIL, 1969 TO BE MADE BY THE CLERK OF <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a regular general municipal election will be held and <br />conducted in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of <br />California, on Tuesday, the 1st day of April, 1969, as required by <br />law; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of said City desires the canvass of <br />said election to be made by the Clerk of the Council of said City; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA: That pursuant to Section 22932.5 of the <br />Elections Code of the State of California, the canvass of the regular <br />general municipal election to be held in the City of Santa Ana, County <br />of Orange, State of California, on Tuesday, the 1st day of April, 1969, <br />is hereby ordered to be made by the Clerk of the Council of said city. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Clerk of the Council of said <br />City shall, prior to the 8th day of April, 1969, complete the canvass <br />of the regular general municipal election to be held in said City on <br />the 1st day of April, 1969, and shall certify the results to the said <br />City Council on the 8th day of April, 1969. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Clerk of the Council shall <br />certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution; shall enter <br />the same in the book of original Resolutions of said City, and shall <br />make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of <br />the proceedings of the City Council of said City, in the Minutes of <br />the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this Resolution shall take effect <br />immediately. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~ CLERK OF TH~OUNCIL <br /> <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br /> COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> the City of Santa <br />the 3rd day of Februg~q~/69,~. <br /> <br /> I, MAXINE VALLERY, do hereby certify that I am the ~ <br />Clerk of the Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing <br />Resolution was introduced to said Council at its regular meeting held <br />on the 3rd day of February, 1969, and was at said meeting passed and <br />adopted by the following vote, to wit: <br /> <br />AYES, <br /> <br />'COUNCILMEN: Herrin~ Brooks, Carlson, Griset, Markel, <br /> Thurman, McMichael <br /> <br />NOES, COUNCILMEN: None <br /> <br />ABSENT, COLrNC ILMEN: None <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE ~CIL <br /> <br /> <br />
