RESOLUTION 69-35 CHANGING THE NAME OF BOLSA AVENUE <br />WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO "FIRST STREET" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there exists within the City of Santa Ana an east- <br />west thoroughfare which bears the names of First Street and Bolsa <br />Avenue; and, in order to give the street in question a consistent <br />name throughout the City, the City Council has recommended that <br />Bolsa Avenue be renamed to First Street within the City of Santa Ana; <br /> <br /> NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED: That BOLSA AVENUE is hereby <br />renamed and shall be known as FIRST STREET to avoid confusion on the <br />part of the public and emergency services; <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: ~hat the Director of Public Works <br />is instructed to place street name signs on Bolsa Avenue to show <br />the name heretofore used for said street and the new name herein <br />designated for said street, and said combination street name signs <br />shall be maintained for at least six (6) months from the adoption <br />of this Resolution. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of March, 1969. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUN~ <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I.
