RESOLUTION 69-56 ACCEPTING DEEDS FOR WHICH <br />THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, GARELD R. EDWARDS and DOROTHY F. EDWARDS, husband <br />and wife; and EUGENE M. EDWARDS, an unmarried man, have executed <br />a deed dated April 25, 1969, conveying to the City of Santa Ana a <br />parcel of real property located on the north side of First Street, <br />and the west side of Broadway to be used as a public street and <br />highway, for which the City is paying a cash consideration of <br />$61,000.00, of which sum $39,500.00 has heretofore been paid to <br />Grantors outside of escrow, the balance of $21,500.00 being the <br />sum now due from the city to Grantors. The transaction is to be <br />handled through escrow numbered 56246-C with the Security Title <br />Insurance Company, Santa Ana, california; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, GARELD R. EDWARDS and DOROTHY F. EDWARDS, husband <br />and wife; and EUGENE M. EDWARDS, an unmarried man, have executed <br />a deed dated March 26, 1969, conveying to the city of Santa Ana a <br />temporary easement over the above-described location; said trans- <br />action also to be handled through said escrow numbered 56246-C. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to sign the escrow instructions; that the City of <br />Santa Ana accepts said deeds, and the Clerk of the Council is <br />directed to cause said deeds together with a copy of this resolu- <br />tion to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the city Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of May, 1969. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE~ ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA AiWA ) <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
