RESOLUTION 69-60 ACCEPTING DEEDS FOR WHICH
<br />THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, MARJORIE E. COLE, who acquired title as MARGERY COLE
<br />and FRANCIS N. EDMUNDS, as co-trustees, have executed a deed dated
<br />March 27, 1969, conveying to the city of Santa Ana real property on
<br />the south side of Fruit Street, east of Sherry Lane, for park purposes,
<br />for which the city is paying a cash consideration of $25,550.00; said
<br />transaction to be handled through Escrow No. 56259-C with Security
<br />Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, california; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, THE CHURCH OF THE MESSIAH, a religious corporation,
<br />has executed a quitclaim deed dated April 1, 1969, conveying to the
<br />record owners as their interests may appear, real property on the
<br />south side of Fruit Street, east of Sherry Lane, for park purposes;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, IRENE E. FRATELLO, a married woman, has executed a
<br />deed dated April 15, 1969, conveying to the city of Santa Ana real
<br />property on the south side of First Street, east of Harbor Boulevard,
<br />for road purposes, for which the City is paying a cash consideration
<br />of $6,000.00; said transaction to be handled through Escrow
<br />No. 56293-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
<br />california;
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
<br />authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
<br />Ana accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the city's designated
<br />agent is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
<br />deeds.

<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of April, 1969.
