RESOLUTION 69-61 JOINING ORANGE COUNTY CIVIL <br />DEFENSE DISASTER RELIEF PLAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange, <br />State of california, on the llth day of March, 1969, adopted the <br />Orange County civil Defense and Disaster Relief Plan - Emergency <br />Fire Services - known as Appendix I of Annex B of the Orange County <br />Operational Area civil Defense and Disaster Plan, as adopted by the <br />Orange County Board of Supervisors, on behalf of the County of <br />Orange and all its departments and agencies; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council of the city <br />of Santa Ana to approve and agree to abide by said Orange County <br />Civil Defense and Disaster Relief Plan - Emergency Fire Services - <br />known as Appendix I of Annex B of the Orange County Operational Area <br />civil Defense and Disaster Plan, as adopted by the Orange County <br />Board of Supervisors and to terminate all current agreements for <br />mutual fire protection which have hitherto been made and entered <br />into and executed by the City of Santa Ana as a principal party thereof. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the city Council of the city of Santa Ana does, <br />by this Resolution, hereby approve and agree to abide by said Orange <br />County civil Defense and Disaster Relief Plan - Emergency Fire Services <br />known as Appendix I of Annex B of the Orange County Operational Area <br />civil Defense and Disaster Plan, as adopted by the Orange County <br />Board of Supervisors; and <br /> <br /> The City of Santa Ana hereby terminates all current agreements <br />for mutual fire protection to which the city is a party as of when <br />the other parties to the said mutual fire agreements adopt the Orange <br />County Disaster Relief Plan referred to hereinbefore, or on October 1, <br />1969, whichever occurs first; the city Clerk is directed to serve <br />notice of its intention to terminate such agreements, except the <br />aforementioned agreement, upon the Clerk of the governing body of <br />each of the other parties thereto as provided by Paragraph 7 of the <br />standard form agreement for mutual fire protection. <br /> <br /> The City Clerk is directed to file with the Orange County <br />Board of Supervisors two certified copies of this Resolution. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of April, 1969. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
