RESOLUTION 69-66 PROHIBITING PARKING ON PORTIONS OF <br />FOURTH STREET AND FRENCH STREET AND ESTABLISHING A <br />"NO STOPPING" ZONE ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF FIFTH STREET <br />FROM ROSS STREET TO FRENCH STREET AND ESTABLISHING <br />'~0 PARKING" ZONES ON GOLDEN CIRCLE DRIVE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, changes in the traffic flow in the downtown area <br />of the City of Santa Ana have brought about a need for additional <br />driving lanes in certain locations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, additional driving lanes can be provided by the <br />creation of "no stopping" areas and the abolition of parking; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That parking is hereby <br />prohibited on the east and west side of French Street from Fourth <br />Street to Fifth Street; and <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That parking is hereby prohibited <br />on the south side of Fourth Street from French Street to 119 feet <br />east of the center line of French Street; and <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That parking is hereby prohibited <br />on both sides of the circular portion of Golden Circle Drive <br />north of Fourth Street; <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That a "NO STOPPINGBETWEEN THE <br />HOURS OF 4:30 P.M. AND 5:30 P.M., EXCEPT SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS, AND <br />HOLIDAYS" is hereby established on the south side of Fifth Street, <br />from Ross Street to French Street. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Director of Public Works <br />is hereby directed to cause signs to be erected to effectuate the <br />regulations as hereinab6ve described. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of May, 1969. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
