RESOLUTION 69-69 AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, <br />THROUGH THE CITY ATTORNEY, TO PARTICIPATE IN AMICUS <br />CURIAE BRIEF IN THE CASE, BISHOP v. CITY OF SAN JOSE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the case of Bishop v. city of San Jose (1 civil <br />24764, Court of Appeal, First Appellate District, Division Two) <br />draws in issue a point of considerable interest to all munici- <br />palities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an amicus curiae brief is being prepared to state <br />the position of interested cities to the California Supreme Court; <br />and <br /> <br /> WIqEREAS, the City of Santa Ana shares the concern of other <br />municipalities that the ruling of the District Court of Appeal in <br />the Bishop case might stand; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana <br />participate, through the office of the City Attorney, in the prepa- <br />ration and submission of the amicus curiae brief to the Supreme <br />Court in the Bishop v.
