RESOLUTION 69-80 DECLARING THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED "FAIRHAVEN AND GRAND NORTH ANNEX WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County has approved a description of territory hereinbelow contained and annexation of said territory to the City of Santa Ana, California; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the requirements of Government Code Section 54797.1, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County has approved the within annexation and has authorized the City Council of the city of Santa Ana, California, to annex said territory without notice and hearing by the city Council of the city of Santa Aha; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, Ca~fornia, hereby finds and declares that said territory was uninhabited at the time of the adoption of this Resolution, and is contiguous to the city of Santa Ana; that all of the statements hereinabove are true and correct; and that said territory shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the city existing at the time of this annexation; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That all of the territory in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at an angle point on the city Boundary of the City of Santa Ana as annexed by the Fairhaven and Grand S.E. Annex, NS-605, said point being the intersection of the West line of said Fairhaven and Grand Southeast Annex with a line that is parallel with and distant 30.00 feet Northerly, measured at right angles from the center line of Fairhaven Avenue; thence South 88~ 59' 38" East along said parallel line and along said City Boundary a distance of 315.61 feet to the West line of Fairhaven and Cambridge Northwest Annex, NS-588, to the City of Santa Ana, said West line being parallel with and distant 5.50 feet Westerly, measured at right angles, from the West line of Lot 14, Block D of the A. B. Chapman Tract, as surveyed by Frank Lecouvreur in 1870 as shown on a map recorded in Book 102, Page 15, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, State of california; thence North 0" 58' 00" East along said parallel line and along said city Boundary 548.02 feet to the Southerly line of Parcel 11 of the land conveyed to the State of california by deed recorded in Book 7616, Page 95 of Official Records, records of said Orange County and to an angle point on the City Boundary of the City of Orange as annexed by Annexation 246, Ordinance 43-68; thence departing from said City Boundary of the City of Santa Ana South 87~ 40' 11" West along the Southerly line of said Parcel 11 and along said City Boundary of the city of Orange a distance of 568.82 feet; thence North 84~ 35' 38" West along the Southerly line of said Parcel 11 and along said city Boundary of the city of Orange a distance of 253.40 feet to an angle point in the City Boundary of the City of Santa Ana as annexed by the Glassell and Fairhaven Northeast Annex, Resolution 66-11, and to the West line of the East 25 acres of Lot 13, Block D of said A. B. Chapman Tract; thence departing from said City Boundary of the City of Orange South 01° 00' 08" West along the East line of said Glassell and Fairhaven Northeast Annex and along said city Boundary of the City of Santa Ana a distance of 594.14 feet to the North line of the Fairhaven and Glassell Southeast Annex, NS-735, to the City of Santa Ana and to a line parallel with and distant 30.00 feet southerly, measured at right angles, from the center line of Fairhaven Avenue; thence South 88" 59' 38" East along said parallel line and along said City Boundary 180.38 feet to the Northeast corner of said Fairhaven and Glasseli Southeast Annex; thence departing said City Boundary -1-
