RESOLUTION 69-82 ACCEPTING DEEDS FOR W~ICH
<br />THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, BORG-WARNER CORPORATION, a Delaware corporation,
<br />has executed a deed dated April 15, 1969, conveying to the city
<br />of Santa Ana an easement for road purposes on the south side of
<br />Alton Avenue, west of Halladay Street to Newport Freeway; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS BORG-WARI~ER CORPORATION, a Delaware corporation,
<br />has executed a deed dated April 15, 1969, conveying to the City
<br />of Santa Ana an easement for slope purposes on the south side of
<br />Alton Avenue, east of Standard Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS BORG-WARNER CORPORATION, a Delaware corporation,
<br />has executed a deed dated April 15, 1969, conveying to the City
<br />of Santa Ana an easement for street purposes on Standard Avenue,
<br />south of Alton Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS BORG-WARNER CORPORATION, a Delaware corporation,
<br />has executed a deed dated April 15, 1969, conveying to the City
<br />of Santa Ana an easement for street purposes west of Standard
<br />Avenue, south of Halladay Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS BORG-WARNER CORPORATION, a Delaware corporation,
<br />has executed a deed dated April 15, 1969, conveying to the City
<br />of Santa Ana an easement for drainage purposes south of Standard
<br />Avenue, west of Newport Freeway; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS BORG-WARNER CORPORATION, a Delaware corporation,
<br />has executed a deed dated April 15, 1969, conveying to the city
<br />of Santa Ana an easement for sewer purposes south of Halladay
<br />Street, Standard Avenue to Columbine Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, LESTER ELBERT and VIVIAN ELBERT, husband and wife,
<br />SIDNEY PENN and BARBARA PENN, husband and wife, and ERNEST ROSS
<br />and DELORACE ROSS, husband and wife, have executed a deed dated
<br />April 29, 1969, conveying to the City of Santa Ana vehicular access
<br />rights to the east side of Fairview Street, north of McFadden
<br />Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ROBERT F. BUCHHEIM, a married man; ERNIE A.
<br />BUCI{HEIM, a married man; FRANCES C. THOMPSON, a married woman,
<br />formerly FRANCES C. ZIMMERMAN, a married woman and formerly
<br />FRANCES C. VALENTINE, a married woman; MINNIE L. NILSON, a married
<br />woman; ANNIE M. BUCHHEIM, ROBERT F. BUCHHEIM, FRANCES C. THOMPSON,
<br />formerly FRANCES C. VALENTINE, and ERNIE A. BUCHHEIM, as Trustees
<br />under the will of FRANK J. BUCHHEIM, deceased with full power to
<br />sell and convey, have executed a deed dated April 22, 1969, convey-
<br />ing to the city of Santa Aha an easement for street purposes on
<br />the north side of Seventeenth Street, Mabury Street to Sherry Lane;
<br />Mabury Street, Seventeenth Street to north of Eighteenth Street;
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, said deeds are without cash consideration being
<br />paid to said grantors by the City of Santa Ana.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the city of Santa Ana
<br />accepts said deeds and the Clerk of the Council is directed to
<br />cause said deeds together with a copy of this resolution to be
<br />recorded in the office of the County Recorder.
<br />
<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the city of Santa
<br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of May, 1969.
