RESOLUTION 69-94 ORDERING THE VACATION OF A
<br />PORTION OF SUNFLOWER AVENUE, EAST OF FAIRVIEW
<br />STREET, RESERVING EASEMENTS THEREIN FOR PUBLIC
<br />UTILITIES
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, on recommendation of the Department of Public Works
<br />and the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana, Resolution
<br />69-78 was adopted giving notice of intention to vacate that portion
<br />of Sunflower Avenue, 60 feet in width, between the new alignment of
<br />Sunflower Avenue and Fairview Street, reserving therein easements
<br />for the Pacific Telephone Company and the City of Santa Ana; and
<br /> hea ing
<br /> WHEREAS, on June 16th, 1969, a public'as duly held on said
<br />vacation on posted notices and the publication of Resolution 69-78;
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the city Council of the
<br />city of Santa Ana hereby finds that that portion of Sunflower Avenue,
<br />60 feet in width, between the new alignment of Sunflower Avenue and
<br />Fairview Street, is unnecessary for present or prospective street
<br />purposes and does hereby make its order abandoning and vacating it
<br />for street purposes, RESERVING THEREIN easements for the Pacific
<br />Telephone Company and the city of Santa Ana. The right o'f way
<br />being abandoned lies within the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange,
<br />State of california, and is described as follows:

<br />Commencing at the intersection of the center line of Fairview
<br />Road ( formerly Old Newport Road, 60.00 feet wide) with the
<br />center line of Sunflower Avenue (formerly Wakeham Avenue, 60.00
<br />feet wide); thence North 88" 59' 30" East along said center line
<br />of Sunflower Avenue to a point on a parallel line which is 57.00
<br />feet Easterly, measured at right angles, from the center line of
<br />Fairview Street and to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence North
<br />88" 59' 30" East along said center line of Sunflower Avenue, a
<br />distance of 725.86 feet; thence North 75" 24' 04" East 46.30
<br />feet to a tangent curve concave Southeasterly having a radius
<br />of 1,040.00 feet; thence Northeasterly along said curve through
<br />a central angle of 5" 38' 19" an arc distance of 102.35 feet to
<br />a point on a parallel line which is 30.00 feet Northerly, measured
<br />at right angles, from said center line of Sunflower Avenue; thence
<br />South 88Q 59' 30" West along last mentioned parallel line, a
<br />distance of 845.68 feet to a tangent curve concave Northeasterly
<br />and having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence Northwesterly along
<br />said curve through a central angle of 90° 43' 00", an arc distance
<br />of 39.58 feet to a point on a parallel line which is 57.00 feet
<br />Easterly, measured at right angles, from the center line of
<br />Fairview Street; thence Southerly along last mentioned parallel
<br />line, a distance of 55.31 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.

<br />RESERVING AN EASEMENT AND RIGHT OF WAY over the Northerly
<br />10.00 feet of the above-described to construct, place, operate,
<br />inspect, maintain, repair, replace, remove and enlarge lines of
<br />pipe and other structures, equipment and fixtures for the
<br />operation of utilities as the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph
<br />Company may, from time to time, require.
<br />
<br />ALSO RESERVING AN EASEMENT AND RIGHT OF WAY over the Northerly
<br />20.00 feet of the Southerly 26.00 feet of the above-described
<br />property to construct, place, operate, inspect, maintain, repair,
<br />replace, remove and enlarge lines of pipe and other structures,
<br />equipment and fixtures for the operation of water lines as the
<br />city of Santa Aha may, from time to time, require.
