SPECIAL RESOLUTION <br /> <br />Resolution 69-126 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in April of 1967, THOMAS W. THURMAN was elected <br />by the People of the City of Santa Ana to serve as Councilman <br />from Ward Two; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, thereafter and until August 1, 1969, Councilman <br />Thurman served well the interests of the City of Santa Ana by <br />lending to the city Council his insight and judgment derived from <br />his legal training and experience; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure Councilman Thurman served as a <br />Committeeman to the Bowers Museum Board and acted as Liaison <br />between the City Council and the City's Fire Department; and <br /> <br /> W/4_EREAS, the pressures of Councilman Thurman's personal <br />and business commitments have compelled his resignation from the <br />city Council; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: That the City Council <br />of the City o~ Santa Ana, on its own account, and for the citizens <br />of the City of Santa Ana, does hereby express to THOMAS W.
