Dahl, Courtney R. <br />Thomas F. La~sen. <br /> <br />Chandler. <br /> <br />A previous meeting hav~ng been scheduled in the Council Chamber, <br />the City Council adjourned its meeting to the Mayor's Office on <br />motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried. <br /> # <br /> <br />In Re On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, <br /> <br />Joint Outfall Sewer; <br />Personnel Board <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> the <br />Minutes of the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Joint 0utfal] <br />Sewer, held at Anaheim, March let and March 4th, 1955, and Minutes of <br /> <br />the Personnel Board meeting held Februemy 2$th, 1955, were received <br /> <br />In Re <br />Protest <br />L. Hendersen <br />(auto wrecking <br />yard) <br /> <br />and filed. <br /># <br />Communication Was read from L. Henderson stating that Clyde Mussaek, <br />2631 South Main Street, is operating an automobile wrecking yard in <br />violation of the Zoning Laws and in violation of Penal Code 602, <br /> <br />Section L. On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Dahl and <br /> <br />In Re <br />Petition <br />Proposed widening <br />of West 8th St. <br /> <br />carried, the matter was referred to the Manager for action. <br /># <br />A. petitlon was read signed by thirty property owners on West Eighth <br />Street requesting that the property llne for the north side of West <br />Eighth Street remain as is and any changes to be made on West Eighth <br /> <br />Street be arranged so'that a straight property line will run from <br /> <br />Broadway to Shelton; and, communication from Harlowe R. Billingsley, <br />reference the widening of West Eighth Street. On motion of Council- <br /> <br />man Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the petition and communicat: <br /> <br />In Re <br />Acceptance of bid <br />Diesel engine <br />driven booster pump <br />(Bristol St. Reservoir) <br /> <br />were reoelved and filed for reference. <br /># <br /> <br />On the written recommendation cf the Department of Pmblio Works and <br />on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by McBride and carried, the bit <br />of.the Byron Jackson Company, in the sum of $22,853.00, plus 3% State <br />Tax, was accepted for the furnishing and installation of one comb- <br /> <br />on <br /> <br /> <br />
