Council Chamber Santa Ana City Hall May 3, 1954. 7:30 P.M. City Council met in regular session. Meeting called to order by the Mayor. Present: Absent: Councilmen Councilmen William Jerome, J.L.McBride, Milford W. Dahl, Courtney R. None Thomas F. Larsen, Chandler. Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of April 19th, 195~, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Larsen and carried. In Re Bids Cast Iron Pipe On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Larsen and carried, bids were ordered opened for the furnishing of 20,000 feet, 6 inch, Cast Iron Pipe, as follows: Bid of American Cast Iron Pipe Company: Bond in the sum of $3500.00. 20,000 ft. 6" Bell and Spigot Mono-Cast Centrifugal "Enameline" Pipe, Class 150, in 16' lengths, for~150 pounds ¥orking pressure, per foot $1.675 $ 33,500.00 Price f.o.b, foundries Birmingham, Alabama, with full freight allowed to Santa Ana. Price includes California State Use Tax on foundry value and terms net thirty days. Delivery approximately 25 days and complete within approximately 65 days.
