<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution,
<br />on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the
<br />following Resolution entitled:

<br /> "Resolution No. 54-80 accepting a grant deed"

<br />from James Phillip Eosht, was considered and passed by the following
<br />

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution,
<br />on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the
<br />following Resolution entitled:
<br />
<br /> "Resolution No. 54-81 accepting a grant deed"
<br />
<br />from Laelco, Inc., for property located south of 10th Street between
<br />English and Artesia Street, in the sum of $1,755.00, was considered
<br />and passed by the following vote:
<br />
<br /> Ayes, Councilmen William Jerome, J.L.McBridel
<br /> Thomas F. Larsen, Milford W. Dahl,
<br /> Courtney R. Chandler
<br /> Noes, Councilmen None
<br /> Absent, Councilmen None

<br />It was moved by Councilman McBride, seconded by Larsen and carried,
<br />that the' Acting Directo2 of Public Works be authorized to enter into
<br />an agreement with t2~e Road Commissioner of Orange County for the
<br />County to include within their existing contract for street construct-
<br />ion on 17th Street that portion of 17th Street lying, half within the
<br />City of Santa Ana between Mabury and Wright Streets, and further to.
<br />agree that the City will compensate the County for such street work
<br />in accordance with the basic item costs in the existing County contract
<br />for such construction; funds for such payment to be taken from Fund 55
<br />Major Street Construction.

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on
<br />motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the follow-
<br />ing Ordinance entitled:
<br />
<br /> "Ordinance amending Santa Aha M~nicipal Code by
<br /> amending Article IX thereof creating changes in
<br /> .district boundaries and amending Sheet No. 33 of
<br /> the districting map to show the reclassification"
<br />
<br />cf property at the northeast corner of Third and Bristol Street, from
<br />the R-2 District to the C-2 District, in accordance with amendment
<br />application cf Bristol D~ug Company, was considered, designated
<br />Ordinance No. NS-40 and passed by the following vote:
<br />
