RESOLUTION 69-169 DECLARING THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED "FAIRHAVEN AND TUSTIN SOUTHWEST ANNEX" WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County has approved a description of territory hereinbelow contained and annexation of said territory to the City of Santa Ana, california; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the requirements of Government Code Section 54797.1, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County has approved the within annexation and has authorized the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, to annex said territory without notice and hearing by the City Council of the city of Santa Ana; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, hereby finds and declares that said territory was uninhabited at the time of the adoption of this Resolution, and is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana; that all of the statements hereinabove are true and correct; and that said territory shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the City existing at the time of this annexation; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That all of the territory in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Tustin Avenue and the Northerly boundary of the City of Santa Ana as annexed by NS-759, said intersection being on the Southwest corner of Tract No. 2989 as shown on the map thereof recorded in Book 89, Page 1, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California, said point of beginning also being the Southwest corner of Lot 4, Block B of the A. B. Chapman Tract as surveyed by Frank Lecouvreur in December 1870, and shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 102, Page 15, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence North 88~ 57' 09" West, along said City boundary of the City of Santa Ana, 30.00 feet on to an angle point in said City Boundary; thence South 0° 53' 32" West, 145 feet, more or less, along said City boundary to an angle point in said city boundary and to a point in the North line of Lot 8, Block A of said A. B. Chapman Tract; thence West along the North line of said Lot 8 and along said City boundary, 804.57 feet to an angle point in said City boundary and to the East line of that certain territory designated as the Fairhaven and Cambridge Southeast Annex, as annexed to the City of Santa Ana by Ordinance NS-576; thence North 0" 10' 15" West along said City boundary 527.60 feet to an angle point in said City boundary; thence South 89~ 58' 00" West along said city boundary 243.00 feet to an angle point in said City boundary; thence North 0~ 10' 15" West 496.11 feet along said City boundary tD an angle point in said city boundary, and to the South line of Fairhaven Avenue, and to the South line of that certain territory designated as the Fairhaven and Tustin Northwest Annex, as annexed to the City of Santa Ana by Resolution 68-191; thence North 89~ 58' 00" East along said City boundary 87 feet, more or less, to an angle point in said City boundary; thence North 0~ 08' 20" West along said City boundary 30.00 feet to the center line of Fairhaven Avenue; thence departing from said City boundary of the City of Santa Ana, and running North 89" 58' 00" East along said center- line of Fairhaven Avenue 910 feet, more or less, to a point on the City boundary of Orange as annexed by Ordinance No. 1-69; thence South 01" 01' 42" West a distance of 30.00 feet along said -1-
