No. 54-104 <br />Accept Grant Deed <br />George Viebeck etux <br /> <br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Councilman Jerome, <br />second~d~by La, sen and carried, the request of Lucille Williams, a <br />member of the Advisory Board for the Orange County Employees, that the <br />cross-walk from extension of the north side of Church Street be change <br /> <br /> to the extension of the south side of Church Street, was denied. <br /> # <br /> <br /> On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Larsen and carried, prope~ <br /> officials were authorized to execute agreement dated July 6th, 1955, <br /> with Julia Ann Hyde Travel Service, to construct an electric sign and <br /> post on property at 715 North Main Street, a portion of which construe <br /> <br /> ion will extend over and upon the 45~ setback line. <br /> . <br /> On motion of ~Councilman Jerome, seconded by Lateen and carried, prope~ <br /> officials were authorized to execute agreement dated July 6th, 1954, <br /> with Advance Neon~Sign C~mpany, ~to construct an electric sign on prop- <br /> erty at~ 910 West 17th Street, a portion of which construction will <br /> extend over and upon the 50' setback line. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Jerome, seconded by Lateen and carried, tha' <br /> escrow instructions be approved for an easement over and across prop- <br /> erty located at the southwest corner of First and Cypress Streets, fro~ <br /> Gertrude and~Louise Montgomery; the Mayor was authorized to 'execute <br /> the same and the Director of Finance authorized to draw a warrant in <br /> the sum of $3,750.00, depositing same in escrow. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Lateen and carried, proper <br />.official was authorized to enter into escrow with George and Katherina~ <br />Viebeck, ~for an easement for street purposes over and across property <br /> <br />located at Santiago Creek and Bristol Street. <br />,, <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, · <br />on motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Lateen and carried, the <br />following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> '"Resolution No~ 5~-103 accepting Grant Deed'for <br /> property for road purposes" <br /> <br />from Gertrude and Louise Montgomery, over and across property located <br />at the eo~thwest corner of First and Cypress Streets, was considered <br />and pad~ed by the followi~ng vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, ~Councilmen William Jerome, JJL.McBride, <br /> Thomas F. Lateen, Milford W. Dahl, <br /> Courtney R.
