RESOLUTION 70-31 ORDERING THE VACATION OF A <br />PORTION OF WILSHIRE AVENUE, WEST OF VILLAGE <br />WAY, AND A PORTION OF VILLAGE WAY, SOUTH OF <br />McFADDEN AVENUE <br /> <br /> W}{EREAS, on recommendation of the Department of Public Works <br />and the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana, Resolution <br />70-22 was adopted giving notice of intention to vacate those certain <br />portions of village Way and Wilshire Avenue herein described; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 6, 1970, a public hearing was duly held on <br />said street vacations on posted notices and the publication of said <br />Resolution 70-22; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the city Council of <br />the City of Santa Ana hereby finds that that certain portion of <br />wilshire Avenue west of village Way, and that portion of Village <br />Way south of McFadden Avenue are unnecessary for present or <br />prospective street purposes and does hereby make its order abandoning <br />and vacating said portions of streets for street purposes; said <br />rights of way lie in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State <br />of California, and are described as follows: <br /> <br />Those portions of the land allotted to F. W. Koll in decree <br />of partition of the Rancho de Santa Ana in the City of Santa <br />Ana, County of Orange, State of California, included within <br />the land shown on a map filed in Book 17, Page 34, of Parcel <br />Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Parcel A <br /> <br />Beginning at the center line intersection of McFadden Avenue <br />and village Way as shown on said Parcel Map, thence South 00° <br />24' 48" East along the center line of village Way a distance <br />of 1030.39 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, said True Point <br />of Beginning being in the Northerly boundary of Parcel 4, as <br />shown on said Parcel Map, thence along said boundary line <br />North 89° 35' 12" East, 30.00 feet to a point, said point being <br />South 89° 35' 12" West a distance of 498.54 feet from the North- <br />east corner of said Parcel 4; thence departing from said <br />Northerly boundary parallel with the center line of village Way, <br />South 00° 24' 48" East a distance of 238.58 feet to the beginning <br />of a curve tangent, concave Northeasterly and having a radius <br />of 88.00 feet; thence Southeasterly along said curve through a <br />central angle of 31° 13' 56" 47.97 feet to a point of reverse <br />curve, said curve being concave Northerly and having a radius <br />of 50.00 feet; thence along said curve through a central angle <br />of 242° 27' 52", 211.59 feet, to a point of reverse curve, said <br />curve being concave Northwesterly and having a radius of 88.00 <br />feet; thence Northerly along said curve through a central angle <br />of 31° 13' 56", 47.97 feet to a point of tangency; thence North <br />00e 24' 48" West, parallel with the center line of Village Way, <br />a distance of 208.31 feet to a point, said point being the <br />southeasterly corner of Parcel 3 as shown on said Parcel Map; <br />thence continuing north 00° 24' 48" West a distance of 30.27 <br />feet to the Northerly boundary of said Parcel 4; thence along <br />said boundary line, North 89° 35' 12" East a distance of <br />30.00 feet, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
