RESOLUTION 70-54 GRANTING APPROVAL FOR THE <br />DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN MICROFILMED CITY RECORDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Purchasing Property Control Officer and the <br />Director of Finance of the City of Santa Ana have in their <br />possession certain City records, documents, instruments, books <br />and papers more particularly described in Exhibit A attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof, <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS all of the above papers have no historical, <br />administrative, legal, fiscal, research or other value. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS said papers have been microfilmed and negatives <br />of said microfilm are being retained by the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS the custodians of said papers desire to cause <br />the destruction of the original of said papers retaining only <br />the microfilmed copies thereof to be certified as is called for <br />under Sections 1920 (b) and 1923 of the California Code of Civil <br />Procedure. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of <br />the City of Santa Ana does hereby give its approval for the <br />destruction of those certain papers referred to in Exhibit A <br />attached hereto and made a part hereof, which records have been <br />microfilmed and placed in permanent storage. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of June, 1970. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
