RESOLUTION 70-60 DECLARING THE ELECTION OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA TO COMBINE "TOPICS" <br />FUNDS APPORTIONED TO THE CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR <br />1969-1970 WITH THE APPORTIONMENT FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR 1970-1971 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by letters dated January 23, 1970 and May 5, 1970, <br />received from the Department of Public Works of the State of Cali- <br />fornia, the City of Santa Ana has been notified that there has <br />been apportioned to it the sum of $197,575 under the Federal <br />"TOPICS" program for the fiscal year 1969-1970, and the sum of <br />$198,705 for the fiscal year 1970-1971; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, such notification requires that the city notify <br />said Department of Public Works which option the City of Santa Ana <br />chooses with regard to the use of such "TOPICS" funds; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of <br />the city of Santa Ana hereby elects to combine the "TOPICS" funds <br />for the fiscal year 1969-1970 with those for the fiscal year 1970- <br />1971 for use on a high priority project in the city of Santa Ana <br />to be determined by the "TOPICS" Area-wide Study; <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Clerk of the Council <br />shall send a certified copy of this Resolution to the Department <br />of Public Works of the State of California at 1120 N Street, <br />Sacramento, california 95814; <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Clerk of the Council shall <br />certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it <br />shall be in immediate force and effect. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the city Council of the city of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of July, 1970. <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br />ASST-CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, MAXINE VALLERY, do hereby certify that I am the Assistant <br />Clerk of the Council of the city of Santa Ana; that the foregoing <br />Resolution was introduced to said Council at its regular meeting <br />held on the 20th day of July, 1970, and was at said meeting passed <br />and adopted by the following vote, to wit: <br /> <br />AYES, <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: Herrin, Evans, Markel, Patterson, Villa, <br /> Yamamot o, Griset <br /> <br />NOES, COUNCILMEN: None <br /> <br />ABSENT, <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> ASST-CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
