RESOLUTION 70-63 AFFIRMING THE DECISION OF THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION AND GRANTING A VARIANCE ON <br />VARIANCE APPLICATION 70-23, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN <br />APPLICABLE CONDITIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Planning <br />Commission granted a variance on Variance Application 70-23, <br />filed by NATIONAL LAND DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, to permit the <br />construction of a 74 unit apartment-motel complex in the C-1 <br />District at 2151 E. First Street, Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council on its own motion set the matter <br />for hearing; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the city Council, after public hearing on notice <br />has determined that said Variance Application meets the require- <br />ments of Section 41-638 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code and that <br />said Variance should be granted subject to certain apptidable <br />conditions: <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of <br />the City of Santa Ana does hereby affirm ~he decision of the <br />Planning Commission and does hereby grant a variance on Variance <br />Application 70-23, filed by NATIONAL LAND DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, <br />to permit the construction of a 74 unit apartment-motel complex <br />in the C-1 District. Said Variance is granted subject to the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />That development be according to the approved plot plan <br />except for minor modifications approved by the Planning <br />Department. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />That a landscape plan be submitted to and approved by the <br />Planning Department, and that said plan be implemented and <br />be continuously maintained. <br /> <br />That only one pole sign be approved on the subject property, <br />and that it may be illuminated, but shall not flash, blink, <br />or rotate. <br /> <br />4. Comply with all conditions set by Council for approval of <br /> Parcel Map 651 and Parcel Map 627. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of July, <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br />SST-~CLERK OF THE COUNCIL/ <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />1970. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
