Tn Re <br />Variance <br />Geo.H.Walk~r etux <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and a variance <br /> <br />granted tc George H. and Henriette E. Walker to permit the construct- <br />ion of a commercial office building on property at 817 Nort~ Broadway, <br /> <br />In Re <br />Amendment Application <br />Lois Michaels: <br />Clarification <br /> <br />eliminating the 101 rear yard reGuirements. <br /> <br />Communication was read from the Planning Commission citifying a mi~-r <br /> <br />understanding reference the amendment application of Lois Michaels fo~ <br /> <br />reclassification of property at the southwest corner of 17th and <br /> <br />Lincoln Streets to allow for a C-2 zone, in regard to whether or not <br /> <br />the point of beginning was to be from the center line of 17th Street <br /> <br />or the inside of the sidewalk. It was moved by Councilman Jerome, <br />seconded by Dahl and carried, that it is the intent of the Council to <br /> <br />agree with the Commission that the south line of the property as <br /> <br />In Re <br />Plann. Commission <br />recommendation - <br />Vacation of a portion <br />of Poinsettia Street <br /> <br />described in the amendment application be established 3~0' from the <br /> <br />center line of'lTth Street. <br /># <br />Communication was read from the Planning Commission recommending <br />approval of proposed vacation of a portion of Poinsettia Street <br />immediateiy south of 17th Street adjacent to the Freeway, and on <br /> <br />cf Councilman McBride, seconded by Jerome and carried, the matter was <br /> <br />In Re <br />Map of Tract 22?8 <br />Edmond and Joan <br />Stephan <br /> <br />referred to the Manager for recommendation. <br /># <br /> <br />Communication was read from Edmond and Joan Stephan requesting that <br />the portion of the sidewalk directly south of the open drainage ditch <br /> <br />on Tract No. 2278 be eliminated. On motion of Councilman Dahl, <br />seconded by Jerome and carried, Map of Tract No. 2278 and bond in the <br />sum of $$9,750.00, submit~ed by Edmond and Joan Stephan, w~re approved! <br />for the dedication of Myrtle, Willits, Mark, Monte Vista, Townsend andiI <br /> <br />Daisy Streets, for public highways, and also Lot 70 for drainage pu~- <br /> <br />In Re <br />Tentative Map <br />Tract No. 2385 <br /> <br />poses; agreement covering improvements ordered signed, subject to the <br /> <br />arrangements as sta~ed between the Engineer and the subdivider. <br /># <br />On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Larsen and carried, Tentativ <br />Map of Tract No. 2385, submitted by Louis B.
