RESOLUTION 70-84 ORDERING THE VACATION OF A <br />PORTION OF PULLMAN STREET NORTI~EASTERLY OF <br />PROPOSED GARRY STREET <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on recommendation of the Department of Public Works <br />and the Planning Commission of the city of Santa Ana, Resolution <br />70-73 was adopted giving notice of intention to vacate that certain <br />street right of way herein described; and <br /> <br /> W/~EREAS, on September 8, 1970, public hearing was duly held <br />on said street vacation on posted notices and the publication of <br />Resolution 70-73; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana hereby finds that that portion of Pullman Street <br />northeasterly of proposed Garry Street is unnecessary for present <br />or prospective street purposes and does hereby make its order <br />abandoning and vacating for street purposes that certain right of <br />way in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, <br />described as: <br /> <br />That portion of Lot 116 in Block 9 of Irvine's Subdivision in <br />the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, <br />as per map recorded in Book 1, Page 88 of Miscellaneous Record <br />Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said County, <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the most Northerly corner of the land described in <br />the deed to the City of Santa Ana recorded October 14, 1968, in <br />Book 8751, Page 88 of Official Records, in the office of said <br />County Recorder; thence North 48° 42' 53" West 80.00 feet along <br />the Northwesterly prolongation of the Northeasterly line of the <br />land described in said deed to the Northwesterly line of the <br />land shown as Parcel 6 on maps recorded April 10, 1967 in State <br />Highway Map Book No. 5, Pages 3 to 9 inclusive, records of Orange <br />County as said Parcel 6 is described in Relinquishment of Highway <br />Right of Way in the County of Orange, a copy of which was recorded <br />April 29, 1968 in Book 8586, Page 649 of Official Records; thence <br />North 40° 38' 52" East 170.34 feet along said Northwesterly line <br />to an angle point therein; thence North 45° 22' 22" East 376.66 <br />feet along said Northwesterly line; thence South 44~ 37' 38" <br />East 60.00 feet to a line parallel with and Northwesterly 20.00 <br />feet from the Southeasterly line of the land described as Parcel 6 <br />in the Final Order of Condemnation recorded May 3, 1966 in Book <br />7920, Page 139 of Official Records, said point being the true <br />point of beginning; thence North 45° 22' 22" East 20.78 feet <br />along said parallel line to the beginning of a curve therein, <br />concave Southeasterly, having a radius of 1030.00 feet; thence <br />Northeasterly 401.15 feet along said curve and said parallel <br />line through a central angle of 22° 18' 54"; thence North 67° <br />41' 16" East 294.44 feet along said parallel line to the beginning <br />of a curve concave Southerly, having a radius of 27.00 feet; <br />thence leaving said parallel line, Easterly 29.67 feet along <br />said curve, through a central angle of 62° 57' 36" to its point <br />of tangency with a line parallel with and Southwesterly 30.00 <br />feet from the Northeasterly line of said Lot; thence South 49° <br />21' 08" East 5.92 feet along said parallel line to said South- <br />easterly line of Parcel 6; thence South 67° 41' 16" West 321.18 <br />feet along said Southeasterly line to the beginning of a curve <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
