RESOLUTION 70-88 FIXING THE SALARY OF THE CITY <br />MANAGER OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, similarly to all other salaries, those of city <br />Managers have continued to increase over the years throughout the <br />State of california; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the city of Santa Ana is now paying its city <br />Manager at a rate below that prevalent in the State for managers <br />of cities of comparable size; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager of the city of Santa Ana is of <br />a caliber to warrant payment well above the prevailing rate; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the city Council has determined that the salary <br />of the city Manager should be increased to bring it into the <br />range of currently prevalent salaries for city managers of cities <br />of comparable size; <br /> <br /> NOW, THERE~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the salary for the <br />position of city Manager of the city of Santa Ana, California, <br />is hereby fixed and established at $2,975 per month. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said salary shall be paid in <br />the same manner and at the same time as other monthly salaries in <br />the city are paid, and that said new salary rate shall take effect <br />and be paid from the 1st day of September, 1970. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the city of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of October, 1970. <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, Florence I.
