RESOLUTION 70-94 DELETING CONDITIONS FROM THOSE <br />IMPOSED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION IN GRANTING <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 70-6 FILED BY SANTA CROWN <br />PROPERTIES <br /> <br /> WI{EREAS, after public hearing on notice the Planning Commis- <br />sion granted a conditional use permit on Application 70-6 filed by <br />SANTACROWN PROPERTIES to permit the utilization of an existing <br />building for the manufacture and retail sales of furniture in an <br />M-1 District at 3731 West Warner Avenue, Santa Ana, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Appeal Application 246 was duly filed by the <br />applicant appealing conditions 7, 8, and 9 imposed by the Planning <br />Commission and presenting the matter to the City Council; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, the City Council, after public hearing on notice, <br />has determined that said Conditional Use Permit meets the require- <br />ments of Section 41-638 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code and that <br />conditions 7, 8, and 9 imposed by the Planning Commission should <br />he deleted; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana does hereby overrule the decision of the Planning <br />Commission and does hereby delete Conditions 7, 8, and 9 from the <br />conditions of approval of Conditional Use Permit 70-6 and does <br />permit the utilization of an existing building for the manufacture <br />and retail sales of furniture in an M-1 District at 3731 West <br />Warner Avenue, Santa Ana, California; said Conditional Use Permit <br />is granted subject to the following applicable conditions: <br /> <br />1. That development be according to the approved plot plan except <br /> for minor modifications approved by the Planning Department; <br /> <br />That a landscape plan be submitted to and approved by the <br /> Planning Department, and that said landscaping be implemented <br /> and be continuously maintained; <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />That all signs on the subject property be in scale with the <br /> proposed development and be approved by the Planning <br /> Department; however, there shall be only one pole sign which <br /> may be illuminated but not be flashing, blinking or rotating; <br /> <br />Prior to the issuance of utilities release, building and <br /> sprinkler system for fire protection shall meet with the <br /> approval of the Fire Department; <br /> <br />Ail outside storage of trucks, trailers, equipment or supples <br /> of any kind shall be behind the existing building and shall <br /> be screened so as not to be visible from Otis Street, <br /> Pendleton Avenue or Warner Avenue. <br /> <br />6.
