RESOLUTION 70-95 DELETING CONDITION NO. 5 <br />FROM THOSE CONDITIONS IMPOSED BY THE ZONING <br />AD~LINISTRATOR IN GRANTING A VARIANCE ON <br />VARIANCE APPLICATION 70-39 FILED BY PERSONAL <br />SERVICE CAR RENTAL, INC. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Zoning Adminis- <br />trator granted a variance on Variance Application 70-39, filed by <br />PERSONAL SERVICE CAR RENTAL, INC. to permit the sale and lease of <br />automobiles from an existing service station site in the R-2 <br />District at 1215 North Grand Avenue, Santa Ana, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 243 was duly filed by the <br />applicant appealing condition number 5 imposed by the Zoning <br />Administrator and presenting the matter to the City Council; and <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, the City Council, after public hearing on notice, <br />has determined that said Variance Application meets the require- <br />ments of Section 41-638 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code and that <br />Condition No. 5 should be deleted; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of <br />the City of Santa Ana does hereby overule the decision of the <br />Zoning Administrator and does hereby delete Condition No. 5 from <br />the conditions of approval of Variance 70-39 and does permit the <br />sale and lease of automobiles from an existing service station site <br />in the R-2 District at 1215 North Grand Avenue, Santa Ana, <br />CalifDrnia; said Variance is granted subject to the following <br />applicable conditions: <br /> <br />1. That development be according to the approved plot plan except <br /> for minor modifications approved by the Planning Department; <br /> <br />2. That there shall ]~e a maximum number of 15 automobiles for rent <br /> or lease on the site; <br /> <br />3. That the renting or leasing of trailers or trucks shall not be <br /> permitted; <br /> <br />4. That no roof sign or additional pole sign be permitted on the <br /> subject property. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br /> <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />FLORENCE I.
