RESOLUTION 71-7 OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA COMMENDING TERRY <br />PRICE FOR AN ACT OF HEROISM <br /> <br /> WriER EAS, it has come to the attention of the City Council that <br />on December 9, 1970, TERRY PRICE, together with STEi~HEN <br />CUNNINGHAM, entered a burning apartment dwelling located at 1519 <br />North Dresser, Santa Aha, and aided in the rescue of Miss Naomi <br />Schoeneweg; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to acknowledge <br />acts of heroism and express appreciation therefor; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the City Council <br />of the City of Santa Aha, individually, collectively, and in a <br />representative capacity for the citizens of this fine City, commend <br />TERRY l~RICE for his actions on December 9, 1970, to wit: making <br />entry through a window of the burning apartment and aiding in the rescue <br />of the occupant, including administering mouth to mouth resuscitation, <br />thereby saving her life; <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that acknowledgment and <br />appreciation be proclaimed for this unselfish act which resulted in <br />the saving of a life notwithstanding the apparent danger to his own. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ma at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of January , 197 1 <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
