<br />Having heard the recommendation of the Manager the Council unanimousl
<br />waived the reading of the Resolution, and on motion of Councilman
<br />
<br /> seconded by Larsen and carried, the following Resolution
<br />
<br />McBride,
<br />entitled:

<br />"Resolution No. 5~-2h0 concerning parking
<br />limitations and curb markings in accord-
<br />ance themewith"
<br />
<br />abolishing the green zones on the north side of Tenth Street between
<br />
<br />Main and Bush Streets, was considered and pa~sed by the following
<br />
<br />vote:

<br /> Noes, Councilmen None

<br />On recommendation of the Manager and on motion of Councilman Larsen,
<br />seconded by McBride and carried, authority was granted the Firemen to
<br />work on their off-duty hours in unifozcn to solicit funds for the
<br />Muscular Dystrophy Fund and that communication be forwarded to their
<br />
<br />Department commending them for the worth-while'work they are performir
<br />,
<br />On ~.ecommendatlon of the Manager and on motion of Councilman Lar.~en,
<br />seconded.by McBride and carried, the request of Attorney Norman H.
<br />Smedegaard, on behalf of property owners, for abandonment of the
<br />northerly 10~ of Parcels 2~, 25, 26 and 28, shown on Assess6rms Map
<br />
<br />Book 7, Page 14, along 5th Street at Sullivan Street, was denied.

<br />The Manager recommended a transfer of funds, in the amount of
<br />$~0,600.00,to be ~ransferred from City Council Contingency Reserve
<br />Unapplied Appropriations Fund Il-000-911 to the Capital Outlay Fire.
<br />Department Building and Equipment Maintenance Fund 51-329-671, to
<br />cover the additional cost of the ~ire Station site on West l?th Stree'
<br />On motion of Councilman Larsen, seconded by McBride and carried, the
<br />
<br />authorization for the transfer of funds was approved.
<br />.
<br />It was moved by Councilman McBride, seconded by Larsen and carried,
<br />that the recommendation of the Manager be approved and the. following
<br />requests submitted to the Council for curb usage, stop signs and
<br />traffic signals, be received and filed:

<br />seconded by McBride and carried, Commission initiated amendment
<br />application No. 101, ~a~ed May 28th, 1953, recommending ~'eclassifica~i
<br />of property east of Standard Avenue from Delhi Road to the City limit~
<br />line, which is approximately 3~5~ north of St. An~ews Place, from
