RESOLUTION 71-18 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A GROUP OF <br />MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENTS AS CONSTITUTING A CITY <br />PLAN PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF TITLE 4, <br />DIVISION 4, CHAPTER 4, ARTICLE 1 OF THE GOVERNMENT <br />CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this City Council ~roposed to call a special bond <br />election within the City of Santa Ana to submit to the voters the <br />question of whether or not bonded indebtedness should be incurred <br />for the following purpose: <br /> <br />PROPOSITION A - CITY OF SANTA ANA PUBLIC <br />IMPROVEMENT BONDS: Shall the City of Santa <br />Ana incur a bonded indebtedness in the <br />principal sum of $17,000,000 for the <br />acquisition and construction by said city <br />of the following municipal improvements <br /> (which have been approved by the City <br />Planning Commission and by the City Council <br />as constituting a City Plan): additions, <br />improvements and widening of street system <br />throughout the city including street <br />lighting and other facilities therefor; <br />additions and improvemtnts to the storm <br />drainage system of the city; additions, <br />improvements and replacements of the <br />sanitary sewer system of the city including <br />trunk and connecting sewers; additions and <br />improvements to the fire protection system <br />of the city including fire stations, addi- <br />tions to the fire alarm system and other <br />fire fighting facilities including <br />additional fire station sites in various areas <br />of the city and including for all of the <br />foregoing land, furniture, equipment, <br />facilities and all other property necessary <br />therefor? <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this City Council has considered said improvements <br />as providing facilities for the public use, interest, convenience <br />and safety of the City of Santa Ana and the inhabitants thereof; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana <br />has considered said improvements as constituting a city plan <br />pursuant to the provisions of Title 4, Division 4, Chapter 4, <br />Article 1 of the Government Code of the State of California, by <br />the adoption of its resolution, Resolution No. 5953 on January 25, <br />1971; <br /> <br /> NOW, <br />California, <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, <br />DOES HEREBY FIND, RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the group of municipal improvements <br />described in the recitals hereof be and hereby is approved as <br />constituting a city plan pursuant to Title 4, Division 4, Chapter 4, <br />Article 1 of said Government Code. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
