RESOLUTION 71-25 ORDERING THE VACATION OF A <br />PORTION OF GRAND AVENUE, SOUTH OF GROVEMONT <br />STREET <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on recommendation of the Department of Public Works <br />and the Planning Department of the City of Santa Ann, Resolution <br />71-23 was adopted giving notice of intention to vacate that certain <br />street right of way herein described; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on March 15, 1971, a public hearing was duly held <br />on said street vacation on posted notices and the publication of <br />Resolution 71-23; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of <br />the City of Santa Ann does hereby find that that portion of Grand <br />Avenue, South of Grovemont Street, is unnecessary for present or <br />prospective street purposes and does hereby make its order abandon- <br />ing and vacating for street purposes that certain right of way <br />in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />The easterly 10.00 feet of Grand Avenue lying within that <br />portion of the Santa Ana Grand Avenue Tract, as per map <br />recorded in Book 26, Pages 53 and 54 of Miscellaneous Records <br />of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 51 of said Tract; <br />thence westerly along the northerly line of said Lot 51 <br />and its prolongation parallel with the north line of Lot 17 <br />of said tract to the center line of Grand Avenue, as shown on <br />said map; thence southerly 428.90 feet along said center line <br />to a point which is 51.13 feet south of a point 40.00 feet west <br />of the northwest corner of Lot 33 of said tract; thence <br />easterly 617.88 feet parallel with the northerly line of said <br />Lot 17 to the center line of said unnamed street; thence <br />northerly 428.90 feet along said last mentioned center line to <br />its intersection with the easterly prolongation of said <br />northerly line of said Lot 51; thence westerly 25.00 feet to <br />the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of March, 1971. <br /> <br />ATTEST:~ ~~,. <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
