RESOLUTION 71-29 CHANGING THE HAME OF A PORTION <br />OF GLASSELL STREET AND A PORTION OF (OLD) GRAND <br />AVENUE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on the recommendation of the Planning Commission, <br />the City Council has determined that it would be in the best ~ <br />interest of the City of Santa Ana to change the name of that <br />portion of Glassell Street, between Santa Clara Avenue and the <br />North City Limits, and to change the name of that portion of <br />(old) Grand Avenue, between Santa Clara Avenue and Fairhaven <br />Avenue; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of <br />the City of Santa Ana does hereby change the name of that portion <br />of Glassell Street, between Santa Clara Avenue and the North City <br />boundary, to GRAND AVENUE; <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana does hereby change the name of (old) Grand <br />Avenue, as it exists between Santa Clara Avenue and Fairhaven <br />Avenue, to OLD GRAND STREET; <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Director of Public Works <br />is instructed to place street name signs on Glassell Street and <br />on (old) Grand Avenue to show the name heretofore used for said <br />portions of streets and the new names herein designated for said <br />streets, and said combination signs shall be maintained for at <br />least six (6) months from the date of the adoption of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of April, 1971. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CL~RK OF THE-COUnCIL <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
