~ETITION <br /> <br /> OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />TO TH~ ttONORABLE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS <br />OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> The CITY OF SANTA ANA, an incorporated city within the County <br />of Orange, hereby petitions Your Honorable Body to except and <br />exclude all property within the limits of the CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />from any tax levied by the County of Orange to provide funds for <br />structural fire protection within the County of Orange as provided <br />for by Government Code Section 25643. <br /> <br /> The reason for the exception of property within the CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA from said levy is that said City now has in operation <br />and existence an organized fire department which does now provide, <br />and has provided for many years last past, adequate structural <br />fire protection for all property within the City and that no benefit <br />in fire protection is or would be received or required by such <br />property from structural fire protection given by the CouDty.
