RESOLUTION 71-53 OVERRULING THE DECISION OF THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION AND APPROVING CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT 71-12 SUBJECT TO APPROPRIATE CONDITIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after public hearing, on notice, the Planning <br />Commission denied Conditional Use Permit 71-12, filed by the <br />CHURCH OF THE BRETHREN to permit a private school to utilize <br />existing church facilities in the R-2 District at 502 South <br />Ross Street, Santa Ana, California; and <br /> WHEREAS, Appeal ApplicatiOn 272 was duly filed by the <br />applicant, appealing the decision of the Planning Commission <br />and presenting the matter to the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, after public hearing, on notice, <br />has determined that said variance should be granted, subject to <br />certain applicable conditions; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of <br />the City of Santa Ana hereby overrules the decision of the <br />Planning Commission and does hereby grant a conditional use <br />permit on Conditional Use Permit application 71-12, filed by <br />CHURCH OF THE BRETHREN to permit a private school to utilize <br />existing church facilities in the R-2 District at 502 South <br />Ross Street, Santa Ana, California; said Conditional Use Permit <br />is granted subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />a. Planning Department requirements 1, 2, and 4; and <br /> <br />b. Public Works Requirements 5, 16, and 43; <br /> <br />as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part <br />hereof as though set forth in full. <br /> <br />The following requirements must also be met: <br /> <br />Dedication <br /> <br />Easement for street purposes for a 15-foot radius property <br /> line spandrel at the southwest corner of Camile Street <br /> and Ross Street; <br /> <br />2. Easement for alley purposes for a width of 10 feet from <br /> center line to property line; <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: <br />recreational activities will be <br />the building. <br /> <br />That students' exercise or <br />restricted to the interior of <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of June, 1971. <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br />ASSISTANT CLF~ OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
