RESOLUTION 71-64 DECLARING THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO <br />BE COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Santa Ana, as <br />follow s: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 34290 of the Housing Authorities <br />Law the City Council hereby declares itself to be the Commissioners of <br />the Housing Authority created by Section 34240 of the Housing Authorities <br />Law, and thai all rights, powers, duties, privileges and immunities <br />vested by the Housing Authorities Law in such Authority shall be and <br />are vested in said Commissioners except as otherwise provided in <br />Sections 34290 through 34293 of the Housing Authorities Law. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. The City Council hereby declares that the Commissioners <br />of the Authority and the Housing Authority will limit their activities <br />under the Housing Authorities Law of the State of California, to the <br />leasing of pri rate accommodations pursuant to Section 23 of the Housing <br />Act of 1937, as amended, with emphasis on large families; and, that <br />no other project or program of low-rent housing will be undertaken <br />without specific approval of the City Council. <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
