RESOLUTION NO. 71-103 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK <br /> <br />ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 225 <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, <br />State of California, did, on September 7, 1971, pass and adopt <br />its Resolution of Intention No. 71-83 that the streets and <br />rights of way named in said resolution of intention be improved <br />in the manner therein described; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said resolution of intention was duly and <br />legally mailed, posted and published in the time, form and manner <br />required by law, as shown by the affidavits of mailing, posting <br />and publication of said resolution of intention on file in the <br />office of the Clerk of the Council of said City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, protests or objections, in writing or other- <br />wise, against the formation of said assessment district were made <br />and presented by the owners of 62.6% of the area of the property <br />to be assessed for said improvements up to the hour set for <br />hearing in and by said resolution of intention, but said City <br />Council has determined that the public interest, convenience, <br />and necessity requires said improvements, and has determined to <br />overrule said protests and objections: <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />the City of Santa Ana, State of California, in regular session <br />assembled, that the public interest and convenience require the <br />improvements herein referred to, and said City Council hereby <br />orders that the work and improvements, as set forth and described <br />in said Resolution of Intention No. 71-83 and in the plans and <br />specifications therein referred to and adopted, be done and made <br />in the manner described in and provided by said resolutions and said <br />plans and specifications. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all objections, whether in <br />writing or oral, to the formation of said assessment district, <br />the proposed work, the grade to which said work is to be done or <br />the boundary of the district proposed to be assessed to pay the cost <br />and expenses of said work be a~d the same hereby are overruled and <br />denied. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the boundaries of the <br />assessment district and the grades to which said work and <br />improvements are to be constructed shall be those set forth and <br />described in said Resolution of Intention No. 71-83, in the plans <br />and specifications therein referred to, and in the plat or map of <br />said assessment district therein referred to, reference to all of <br />which is hereby made for all further particulars. <br /> <br />ADOPTED the 1st day of November, 1971. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Clerk of the Council <br /> <br /> <br />
