RESOLUTION NO. 71-104 <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT <br /> <br /> ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 225 <br /> SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, sealed proposals or bids for performing the work <br />and improvements described in Resolution of Intention No. 71-83 of the <br />City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California adopted <br />September 7, 1971, which said resolution is hereby expressly re- <br />ferred to for a description of said work and improvements and for <br />all other particulars relative to the proceedings under said <br />resolution of intention, have been publicly opened and examined, <br />and said City Council has declared the result of said bids at its <br />meeting of November 1, 1971; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana, State of California, in regular session assembled, <br />that said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids, <br />except that herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for <br />doing said work and making said improvements to the lowest re- <br />sponsible bidder, to wit: <br /> <br />GRIFFITH COMPANY <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Council of <br />said City of Santa Ana is hereby directed to publish notice of <br />said award twice in THE REGISTER, a newspaper published and <br />circulated in said City of Santa Ana, State of California. <br /> <br />ADOPTED the 1st day of November, 1971. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Clerk of the Council <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
