RESOLUTION 71-109 FIXING THE SALARY OF THE <br />CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, similarly to all other salaries, those of City Managers have <br />continued to increase over the years throughout the State of California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is now paying its City Manager at a <br />rate below that prevalent in the State for managers of cities of comparable <br />size; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Santa Aha is of a caliber to <br />warrant payment well above the prevailing rate; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the salary of the City <br />Manager should be increased to bring it into the range of currently prevalent <br />salaries for city managers of cities of comparable size; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the salary for the position of <br />City Manager of the City of Santa Aha, California, is hereby fixed and established <br />at $3,083 per month. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said salary shall be paid in the same <br />manner and at the same time as other monthly salaries in the City are paid, and <br />that said new salary rate shall take effect and be paid from November 16, 1971 <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its <br />regular meeting held on the 20th day of ~, 197~. <br /> <br />ATTE S T: <br /> <br /> MAYOR <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE )SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, Florence I.
