RESOLUTION 71-111 AMENDING SECTIONS <br />2 AND 3 OF RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958 the City Council passed and adopted <br />Resolution No. 58-281 revising and establishing the Basic Compensation <br />Plan for employees of the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended this <br />Resolution; and <br /> <br /> W~HEREAS, it is now desired to establish a new salary schedule to replace <br />the schedule previously listed in Section 2; to assign new salary range numbers <br />to the class titles listed in Section 3; both aforementioned sections of said <br />Resolution No. 58-281; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Section 2 of Resolution No. 58-281 <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: Salary. and Wage Schedule. The following salary and wage <br />schedule shall constitute the basic compensation plan consisting of five (5) <br />steps or rates of pay in each range. The respective ranges shall be identified <br />by number and the steps by the letters A to E inclusive. The columnar headings <br />at the Wp of each column shall establish the purpose of each step and the <br />length of service required for advancement to the next higher step as provided <br />in Section 7 hereof. <br /> <br /> Beginning After 6 Mos.
