RESOLUTION 72-20 AMENDING SECTION 3 OF RESOLUTI ON <br />NO. 58-281 INCREASING THE SALARY SCHEDULE BY ONE <br />STEP (GRANTING AN ADDITIONAL 2~%) FOR CERTAIN <br />CLASSIFICATIONS OF EMPLOYMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958 the City Council passed and adopted Resolution <br />No. 58-281 revising and establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for employees of <br />the City of Santa Aha; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended this Resolution, <br />most recently on November 15, 1971; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, certain employees previously recon%mended for 8.5% salary increases <br />at the time of the last amendment to this Resolution were held to 6% salary increases <br />as the result of Phase II Federal Wage Board policies; and <br /> <br /> Wt{EREAS, as the result of a recent Wage Stabilization Program ruling expand- <br />ing the Phase II guideline ceiling to 7%, payment of the 2~% increase previously <br />denied the aforementioned employees is now authorized as meeting with the cKiteria <br />for retroactive pay increases contained in the amended Economic Stabilization Act; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to assign new salary range numbers to certain <br />class titles listed in Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281 <br />is hereby amended to ~ad as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION 3: Allocation of Classes of Employment to Salary and Wage Schedules. <br />The following classes of employment shall be allocated to salary and wage ranges <br />as indicated: <br /> <br />CLASS TITLE <br /> <br />SALARY RANGE NO. <br /> <br />Alarm and Con~nunications Supervisor <br />Alarm Dispatcher <br />Assistant Fire Chief <br />Battalion Chief <br />Concrete Finisher <br />Data Processing Supervisor <br />Fire Alarm Technician <br />Fire Captain <br />Fire Engineer <br />Fire Inspector <br />Identification Officer <br />Maintenance and Construction Man <br />Personnel Analyst <br />Recreation Leader I <br />Recreation Leader II <br />Senior Auto Mechanic <br />Senior Personnel Analyst <br />Storekeeper <br /> <br />52 <br />31 <br />64 <br /> 58 <br />36 <br /> 58 <br /> 38 <br />51 <br /> 45 <br />45 <br />46 <br /> 36 <br />47 <br />3O <br /> 36 <br /> 40 <br />51 <br />33 <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this Resolution shall take effect as of the <br />16th day of November, 1971. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its <br />regular meeting held on the 22ncl day of February , 1972. <br /> <br /> MAYOR <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) ~,,~ <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE )SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />I, FLORENCE I.
