RESOLUTION NO. 72-65 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA REQUESTING THE BOARD <br />OF SUPERVISORS TO PERMIT THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA.TO PARTICIPATE IN JOINT PURCHAS- <br />ING OF OFFICE FURNITURE A_ND FIXTURES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Government Code of the State of California permits <br />intergovernmental cooperation on such matters as joint purchasing of <br />merchandise for governmental use; and <br /> <br /> V~-HEREAS, it appears that considerable saving of taxpayers' monies <br />can be accomplished by purchasing certain office furniture and fixtures <br />items held by the County of Orange. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does <br />resolve as follows: <br /> <br /> The Board of Supervisors of Orange County is requested to allow the <br />City of Santa Aha to purchase certain items under the existing contracts as <br />may be entered into the County until Dec. 31, 197Z, said purchasing to <br />cornrnence immediately. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of June, 1972. <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
