RESOLUTION 72-71 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE ARTERIAL STREETS <br />PORTION OF THE "LAND USE AND ARTERIAL STREETS" <br />ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN BY REALIGNING AND <br />AND EXTENDING BEAR AND RAITT STREETS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has adopted a General Plan, <br />and has amended it from time to time, which plan among other <br />things provides for its future physical development; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS: The Santa Ana Planning Commission, after conduct- <br />lng the published public hearings required by the Santa Aha Muni- <br />cipal Code, held its regular meeting the 8th day of May 1972, and <br />by its Resolution 95991 has recommended to the City Council that <br />the Proposed General Plan Amendment No. 1972-1, Bear-Raitt Street <br />Alignments Map "B" prepared by the Santa Ana Department of PUblic <br />Works be adopted, and that Precise Plan Street Alignment 99 be <br />recinded; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of hearing by <br />publication as required by the Santa Ana Municipal Code; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said public hearing was held at the time and place <br />so published. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Aha hereby adopts the recommendation of the Santa Ana <br />Planning Commission as contained in its Resolution #5991, and does <br />adopt the Proposed General Plan Amendment No. 1972-1, depicting the <br />newly created street alignments as set forth above. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That in accordance with §27-17 of <br />the Santa Ana Municipal Code the said proposals are hereby adopted. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on the ~rd day of <br /> July , 1972. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
