RESOLUTION 72-73 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA RATIFYING ITS DECI- <br />SION TO REIMBURSE CERTAIN DEVELOPERS <br />FOR CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS ON THE <br />SELECT STREET SYSTEM <br /> <br /> ~fPIEREAS, the City Council is amending the section of the Santa <br />Aha Municipal Code which authorized the reimbursement of developers <br />for the construction costs they expended on improvements made on the <br />Select Street System; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the finances of the City no longer permit the expense <br />of reimbursements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this policy is consistent with the policy of other <br />cities in Orange County[; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it would be unfair, however, to totally reverse this <br />policy as to those developments now in process. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT those projects which are under <br />construction on the Select Street System and for which street work <br />permits had been issued as of June 26, 1972, will be eligible for <br />reimbursement in the amount of 50% of the cost which would have been <br />paid under the previous Select Street Reimbursement Program. To be <br />eligible for any reimbursement, each project must be completed on <br />or before October 3, 1972. <br /> <br /> The following list constitutes those projects which are eligible <br />for the 50% reimbursement.
