RESOLUTION NO. 72-118 , RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, <br />AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER <br />TO PROCEED WITH AN APPLICATION FOR <br />IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CRIME-SPECIFIC <br />BURGLARY PROGRAM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the California Council on Criminal Justice may consent <br />to review for possible funding the project submitted by the City of Santa Aha <br />referred to as Burglary Prevention-Repression and Apprehension through <br />Selective Enforcement, <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager of the <br />City of Santa Aha, is directed to execute and submit to the California Council <br />on Criminal Justice on behalf of the City of Santa Aha, the application for <br />grant for law enforcement purposes. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in the event the California Council <br />on Criminal Justice consents to fund the above project, the City of Santa Aha <br />agrees to accept the grant and designates the City Manager to execute on <br />behalf of the City of Santa Aha the contract for the grant for law enforcement <br />purposes. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to provide the <br />required matching funds to said project. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder <br />shall not be used to supplant ongoing law enforcement expenditures. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha <br />at its regular meeting held on the Znd day of January, 1973. <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I. ldALONE, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of the <br />Council of the City of Santa Aha; that the foregoing Resolution was introduced <br />to said Council at its regular meeting held on the Znd day of ffanuary, 1973, <br />and was at said meeting passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit: <br /> <br />AYES, <br />NOES, <br />ABSENT, <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: Villa, Yamamoto, Evans, Griset, Patterson, Markel <br />COUNCILMEN: Herrin <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: None <br /> <br /> APPROV~II~A~S TO FORM~-~ <br /> <br />/~A.
