· 3/88 - MAP NOT ATTACHED TO RESOLUTIO~I AT TIME OF PREPARATION FOR MICROFILMING <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 72-119 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE PROPOSED FEDERAL-AID <br />URBAN STREET SYST~4 FOR THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />URBANIZED AREA PORTION OF THE LOS ANGELES-LONG <br />BEACH METROPOLITAN AREA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Federal Highway Act of 1970 directed the establishment of <br />a Federal-Aid Urban System for the Metropolitan Areas, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Federal legislation provided that routes on the Urban <br />System shall be selected by appropriate local officials and the State Highway <br />Department in cooperation with each other, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Local Angeles Region Transportation Study Group and the <br />local agencies of the Los Angeles-Long Beach Metropolitan Area, in cooperation <br />with the Division of Highways have selected a proposed Federal-Aid Urban <br />System within the 1970 Bureau of Census Urbanization Limits conforming to <br />the instructions of the Federal Highway Administration, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed routes of Federal-Aid Urban Sytem for the Los <br />Angeles-Long Beach Metropolitan Area conform to the Federal and State <br />functional classification systems of the region. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Santa Ana approves the <br />proposed Federal-Aid Urban System selected for the City of Santa Ana portion <br />of the Los Angeles-Long Beach Metropolitan Area as corrected and shy changes <br />in the Federal-Aid Secondary System and the Federal-Aid Primary Type II (TOPICS) <br />System, all as shown on the attached map, Exhibit A, and recommends them for <br />submission to the Federal Highway Administration by the California Division <br />of Highways. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its <br />regular meeting held on the 4th day of December , 1972. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
