RESOLUTION NO. 72-120 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SANTA <br />ANA DESIGNATING A REDEVELOPMENT SURVEY AREA <br />FOR STUDY PURPOSES <br /> <br /> WI{EREAS, the City Council of Santa Ana desires that the <br />area hereinafter described be studied to determine if a Re- <br />development Project within that area is feasible; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council desires that a Redevelopment <br />Project be initiated within the area should it be found that <br />such a project is feasible; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 33310 of the California Community Re- <br />development Law (~ealth and Safety Code Sections 33000, et <br />seq.) provides that redevelopment survey areas may be desig- <br />nated by resolution of the City Council; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council designates as a Redevelopment Survey <br />Area that area bounded on the north by the center line of 17th <br />Street, on the east by the center line of Grand Avenue, on the <br />south by the center line of Walnut Street, and on the west by the <br />center line of Bristol Avenue, shown and described on the map at- <br />tached hereto and marked as Exhibit "A", and incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Council finds that said designated area re- <br />quires study to determine if a Redevelopment Project or Projects <br />within that area are feasible. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Council further resolves that the Planning Com- <br />mission is hereby authorized to, by resolution, select and desig- <br />nate further Survey Areas for study purposes, and to make recom- <br />mendations to it. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 18~h day of December <br />1972. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
