RESOLUTION NO. 72-125 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, MAKING FINDINGS ON PETITION <br />AND' WAIVER FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 215 (MAPLE/ <br />COLUMBINE) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Santa Ana, Calif- <br />ornia, has presented a Petition signed by certain property <br />owners requesting certain improvements and appurtenances in <br /> <br />ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 215 <br />(MAPLE/COLUMBINE) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said Petition contains a waiver of the provisions <br />and limitations of the "Special Assessment Investigation, Limi- <br />tation and Majority Protest Act of 1931", as provided for in <br />Section 2804 of said Act; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the said City Engineer has reported that said <br />Petition and Waiver contains the signatures of all of the owners <br />of more than 60% in area of the property to be subject to assess- <br />ment for said proposed improvement. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, <br />CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That the City Council finds that said Petition <br />and Waiver has been signed by all of the owners of more than 60% <br />in area of the property to be subject to assessment for the im- <br />provement requested in said Petition, and meets the requirements <br />of Section 2804 of Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of <br />the State of California. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2.
