Chandler Noes, Councilmen None Absent, Councilmen None On motion of Councilman Dahl, lowing Ordinance entitled: seconded by Markel and carried, the fol- "Ordinance amending Section 2613 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code providing for the sale of real property and adding Section 2614" was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. . On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Markel and carried, the plans and specifications for the construction of a storm drain on Seventeenth Street from Flower Street to Main Street, were approved and the Ptu'chasing Agent authorized to advertise for bids 'tO'be opened August 15th, 195.5, . It was moved by Councilman Jerome, seconded by Heinly and carried, tha~ the tentative plans and specifications for the West Seventeenth Street Fire Station be approved and the Architect authorized to proceed with final plans and specifications. # Communication was read from the Department of Public Works advisin~ that improvements within Tract No. 1299 have been completed and on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Heinly and carried, bond filed by Hugh M. Neighbour, Jr., in the sum of $10,000.00 was ordered re- leased and improvements accepted as completed. Communication was read from the Department of Public Works advising that improvements within Tract No. 1341 have been completed and on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Heinly and carried, bond filed by James Developmen$ Company, in the sum of $27,500.00 was ordered re- leased and improvements accepted as completed. Communication was read from the. Department of Public Works advising that improvements within Tract No. 2171 have been completed and on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Markel and carried, bond filed by Emmet C. Rogers, in the sum of $10,000.00 was ordered released and improvements accepted as completed. # On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Heinly and carried, communi- cations dated July 21st, 1955, together with Resolutions Nos. 1276, 1277 and 1278, from the City of Orange, advising of proposed annex- ations of certain real properties, were received and filed. # Communication wms read from Attorney H.
