RESOLUTION 73-36 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />ESTABLISHING A MID-BLOCK C~DSSkmJ~K ON WTr.qHIRE AVENUE <br />BE~EN TOWNER STPe~' AND OLIVE STPe~'~' <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 36-115 of the Santa Aha Municipal Code provides that <br />the City Council may establish crosswalks between intersections; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works finds that a crosswalk is needed <br />on Wilshire Avenue between Towner Street and Olive Stz~et to serve the public <br />and rec~m~nds its establishment. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That a mid-block pedestrian crosswalk <br />across Wilshire Avenue between Towner Street and Olive Street, in the City <br />of Santa Ana, California, is hereby established, and the Director of Public <br />Works is hereby authorized to mark the location of the crosswalk by the <br />plac~v~nt of appropriate lines upc~ the pav~uent of Wilshire Avenue frcm <br />326 feet to 336 feet east of the center line of Towner Street. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOP,'ED by the.
