(ORIGINAL ON PARCHMENT PAPER WITH SEAL) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 73-29; A RESOLUTION OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, <br />CALIFORNIA, COMMENDING WADE M. HERRIN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Mayor Wade M. Herrin has served the citizens of <br />Santa Ana on the City Council for a period of eight <br />years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Mayor Wade M. Herrin's service to the citizens <br />in official capacity has been fulfilled to the limit <br />permitted under the City Charter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Mayor Wade M. Herrin has been the kind of <br />publicly elected official who has commanded the <br />constant respect and confidence of those who know <br />him, even those who disagree with him; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Mayor Wade M. Herrin is the kind of man who <br />always listens to people regardless of who they are; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Mayor Wade M. Herrin always stands up for what <br />is right, based on his conviction of truth as expressed <br />in God's Word, the Bible, <br /> <br />NOW, <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Vernon S. Evans, Lorin <br /> Griset, J. Ogden Markel, Jerry M. Patterson, Ray <br /> Villa and Harry K. Yamamoto, his fellow Councilmen, <br /> do hereby salute Wade Herrin as an extraordinary, <br /> outstanding, unique human being endowed with character <br /> and common sense, with good humor, along with a <br /> great deal of kindness and concern for other people. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at <br /> its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of April, 1973. <br /> <br />/s/ Lorin Griset /s/ Jerry M.
