RESOLUTION NO. 73-42 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA DETERMINING THAT THE CONTINUED <br />PARTICIPATION BY AGENCY OR COMMUNITY OFFICERS <br />OR CITY EMPLOYEES WHO HAVEMADE WRITTEN FINANCIAL <br />DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INTEREST IN THE COMMUNITY <br />REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA, IN THE FORMULATION OF <br />OR APPROVAL OF PLANS OR POLICIES FOR THE REDEVEL- <br />OPMENT OF THE PROJECT AREA, WILL NOT BE CONTRARY <br />TO THE PUBLIC INTEREST <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, Section 33130 of the California Health and Safety <br />Code of the Community Redevelopment Act requires that any Agency <br />or Community officer or employee, who in the course of his duties, <br />is required to participate in the formulation of or to approve <br />plans or policies for the redevelopment of a project area, shall <br />make written disclosure to the agency of any direct or indirect <br />financial interest he may have in any property included within <br />the project area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all such officials and officers who have such <br />interest have made such written disclosures; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the interests of said officials and officers have <br />been reviewed by the Santa Ana City Council; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Santa Ana City Council <br />in regular session assembled this 7th day of May, 1973, that the <br />City Council has reviewed the written disclosure of direct and in- <br />direct interests of the following Agency or Community officers or <br />employees: Robert Newcomb, Alex Acevedo, Don Christeson, Vern <br />Evans, Rudy Gallegos, Hector Godinez, Lorin Griset, Bomo Koral, <br />and John W. ("Bill") Hill, and hereby determines that, in light <br />of such personal interests, participation of such members in the <br />actions by the Santa Ana City Council, the Community Redevelopment <br />Agency, the Community Redevelopment Commission, the City Planning <br />Commission, and as employees of the City of Santa Ana, affecting <br />the carrying out of the project planning or the undertaking of <br />the Project will not be contrary to the public interest. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of said written disclosures <br />be attached to this resolution and be entered into the minutes of <br />this meeting of the Santa Ana City Council. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana, California, at its regular meeting held on the 7 th day of <br />May, 1973. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
