Recorded May 16, 1973 <br />9:05 A.M. <br />Bk 10699 Pg 374 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 73-47 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ORDERING THE VACATION <br />OF A PORTION OF THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF <br />WESTMINSTER AVENUE AND CENTURY BLVD. <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, on recommendation of the Department of Public Works <br />and the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Aha, Resolution <br />73-28 was adopted giving notice of intention to vacate a portion <br />of the southeast corner of Westminster Avenue and Century Blvd.; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution 73-28 was published, and notice of inten- <br />tion to vacate was posted as required hy law; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 7, 1973, a public hearing was duly held on <br />said vacation; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of <br />the City of Santa Ana hereby finds that the above named street is <br />no longer necessary for present or prospective street purposes, <br />and does hereby make its order to vacate said right of way. Said <br />right of way lies in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, <br />State of California, described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the Southerly corner of Lot 4 of said <br />Tract No. 538; thence North 53? 47' 30" West 96.39 <br />feet along the Southwesterly line of said Lot 4 to <br />a point in a curve concave Easterly and having a <br />radius of 25.00 feet that is tangent to a line pa- <br />rallel with, and 36D0 feet Northeasterly from, the <br />centerline of Century Boulevard, and tangent to a <br />line that is parallel with, and 52.00 feet Southerly <br />from, the centerline of 17th Street, a radial of said <br />curve through said point bears North 79° 53' 28" West; <br />thence Southwesterly along said curve through a central <br />angle of 63° 54' 02" a distance of 27.88 feet to a tan- <br />gency with the above mentioned line that is parallel <br />with, and 36.00 feet Northeasterly from the centerline <br />of Century Boulevard; thence South 53° 47' 30" East <br />84.47 feet along said parallel line to the Southerly <br />prolongation of the Easterly line of said LOt 4; <br />thence North 0° 45' 07" West 17.52 feet along said <br />prolongation to the Point of Beginning. <br /> <br /> Subject to covenants, conditions, reservations, restrictions, <br />rights of way and easements, if any, of record. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of ~ay · <br />1973. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
